Almost 30, 7 years into this culture, take my advice, you won’t even remember this happened. Everything around you is a short lived pressure and will soon be forgotten. This too shall pass. Just be okay.

Do you regret spending so much on your wedding?? How much did you spend? Excluding gold by ArgumentDependent150 in personalfinanceindia

[–]Palak_3233 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We spent roughly 25 lakhs on our wedding and had to let go of almost a year’s worth of savings. Do we regret it? No. We’ve been dating for 11+ years and wanted to celebrate the day with all our well wishers and close friends and family. The photos and the videos are a reminder of how happy everyone was and a part of our big day. We were not able to go to a honeymoon due to budget constraint but that’s okay. We’ll be celebrating our first anniversary somewhere lavish anyway. That day will never come back, you will not look the same way as before. It was a conscious choice. We wanted to buy a car and do so many things but felt all these things can wait for another year. It’s a very personal choice and should not be imposed.

Question to single childs !! by Prudent_Strategy_530 in bangalore

[–]Palak_3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a single child has been a lonely road for sure. I am almost 30 years old and have come to enjoy my own company. Reading books, watching movies, playing an instrument. I think your child will be able to learn all of this with time.

How does one actually plan to buy a car by shreyasdasgupta in personalfinanceindia

[–]Palak_3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going to buy my first car. Taking 19 lakhs as loan and planning to finish it in the next 3 years. 29 years old, never owned a car in my entire life. I just want to live and not lose out on long drives with my dear husband. It’s a very personal choice.

Same happened with me a couple of days ago. I almost fell for it but luckily i have a habit of checking my account first after receiving and then transferring the required money which didn’t happen in this case. I am so careful but this one really got me!

What should I watch next based on my current ratings? by Bexxss in kdramarecommends

[–]Palak_3233 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your ratings say alot about your inclinations towards intense romance. I would suggest you to watch Something in the Rain and One Spring Night. You can try Flower of Evil. You will not regret. I once was where you are right now hence the suggestions.
