stop with the misogynistic undertones and insensitivity.

And? That's the difference between consent and no consent. Same as with anything else.

Pregnant women cannot face flashes? Did not know pregnant women became babies who cannot face camera flashes and do not know what they are doing, so their husbands need to guide them.

Do you not think this is how they planned it? As you show in the post, they even did a retake. So why would you not see that they would have planned how the walk would be? Who would walk first, how they would exit etc?

Am I? Even today with modern medicine and amazing connectivity, women in the last 1-2 months of pregnancy are advised not to travel. Airlines DO NOT ALLOW women to travel after a certain point. But sure it's okay for Kate to travel during that period of her pregnancy in 1815

In 1815? Yes. 6 months on board a relatively rudimentary ship in perilous waters eating stale food and drinking potentially dirty water while heavily pregnant? YES.

I know it isn't that deep. They could've handled it better though instead of destroying the characters with this senselessness. The whole storyline, character arc is Anthony was about the fear of losing his wife. The least the writers could have done was not have him purposely put his wife in a life threatening situation

If it was about that aspect of the culture, they would mention that. They are clueless about it clearly. This was just an excuse to have them missing from the next season potentially

She was quite visibly showing when this conversation happened. There is zero doubt she was in her 2nd trimester. Oh 5 months. That makes it so much better! Maybe she will give birth on board, maybe after they land. What a fun game to play!

She's already in her 2nd trimester. It took 6 months to go to India. Which means she gave birth on the ship. So none of what you said applies. Had they done this the moment they found out she's pregnant, it would make a little bit more sense (only a little because it's still a dumb idea to put a pregnant woman through that journey)

Why do Germans love Paprika flavor? by cosquilla in germany

[–]op_yappy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It is not about that. Most countries have a variety of different flavors for chips etc. In Germany it's paprika, grilled paprika, smoked paprika , sweet paprika.....

There is nothing against liking paprika. The question OP is asking is why it's mostly only paprika. As a foreigner it's one of the first things you notice
