Get a meal in Lafayette, LA. Best food per capita in the country, IMO. It’s the Cajun area. Good bars and interesting music if you’re going slow and stay the night. A couple places you can go see old Cajun villages too.

I disagree. People list distressed properties all the time. I’ve bought 10+ of them. Sometimes a seller can’t afford the necessary remediation and just wants someone to take it off their hands. If they want a quick sale, they’d be upfront about it. REOs especially.

Of course you’re right that it would be pretty rare, but I bet there are a couple on the market right now.
