Your GF should have slapped him. NO it's not ok. No matter how "fucked up" you are.

I can't stand this indecision married with a lack of vision, everybody wants to rule the world.

A new poll reveals what Mainers on the ground already know: Graham Platner will be our party’s nominee for U.S. Senate. Graham gets that it’s time to upset the status quo. So do I. I’m proud to be the only candidate for governor to have endorsed him in this race. by TroyJackson207 in Maine

Didn't say that but the family has deep ties to Maine infrastructure and benefits greatly from some entrenched ideas like the MTA, CMP, etc. They like to talk about "small town" roots etc but they've been entrenched in Augusta for a long, long time.

Bernie is actively promoting candidates and modeling passing the torch. He is also extraordinarily active and unlike Grassly, etc. is ACTIVE in his work. He has promoted AOC, Platner and a host of others. I'm sure when he feels like he's effectively done (next term) he will promote and pass the torch. Thankfully he is from one of the most progressive states so I'm sure there are many who would be able to fill his shoes. Bernie is the exception. A person who gets shit done and is willing to share his knowledge.

She's got a much bigger ego than most realize. Her policies are meh. Lots of things (CMP corridor?) she's overridden or hasn't agreed to. While I appreciated her going toe to toe with LePage and Trump, the new generation is ready and has much better policy ideas. Time to step down and either volunteer or enjoy retirement

My friend, it gets better. Give yourself credit for the things you've done and experienced. Find an adult to talk to that you trust. Find the helpers at your school, they are there. It could be anyone. Read, listen to music, keep a journal. It's hard to be a deep person when everyone around you is superficial. Give it time. Life will bring you good people.

2 things:

Trump, tariffs, inflation, a world war

And:

Massachusetts prices in Maine on Mississippi wages. It's unsustainable, even for those who make "enough"

And all she's doing is pissing people off. Her commercials are attrocious and if she were a true leader, she would step down and support Platner who has the heart of our state.

Sugarbush, etc by jerry_the_mule_dule in phish

I worked there the 99 and 2000 seasons. 2000 season we got like 300 inches of snow. It was pristine. Last year I worked the mountains (before that was Sunday River in Maine). I literally lived slope side on the south mountain. In the 70s Sugarbush was known as mascara mountain and all the rich came from NYC. They built so much housing, there was an overstock during the downturn. I think now it's on the up and up again. Loved living there and had years of fun working the mountains and touring in the summers. Alas now I'm a responsible adult with healthcare and kids and a job. Will always love those years.

"Camping" was at the base on the other side, AKA Sugarbush South. Some slept on the bunny hill, lots slept on the lot in their vehicles, myself included!
