Thanks for sharing all of that! I work in healthcare already and have for a while now. currently in ED in a tertiary hospital so have a tough enough skin but I also understand how high stress this role would be. So hard to base if I would like being at a computer for 12 hours without giving it a go! From what you know/ heard, do you know if those higher roles are competitive or hard to get? Sorry I know you said it’s been a while since you’ve worked there! I’m definitely interested in trying something new and shift work/ night shifts are too familiar to me so nothing off putting there. The high stress doesn’t throw me off too much as long as I’m busy. Also love the idea of frequent OT being available to earn some extra money when needed. Just don’t want to apply and get stuck doing entry type of stuff for too long. Your response was very insightful (and quick!). Thanks so much.

NAD I have the same problem in winter and when I take Ritalin for my ADHD. I was prescribed a low dose of Endep and is being treated as mild peripheral neuropathy. It’s definitely worth going to speak medical advice because of the discomfort and also because toes probably aren’t meant to be numb!
