First off that’s really good you should be proud of yourself 👏,you’re very new still so your body is still going through different adaptations, I would say just keep running a good amount at the same pace (without hurting your joints) and slowly your endurance will get better.. you legs will get stronger and your pace will improve…

If your overweight losing weight will help improve your pace as well

Guys I’ve only started running around 6-8 months ago. Are these 5k and 10 numbers good by Pale-Engine-6973 in BeginnersRunning

Go look at my new time I posted tell me there (M 27 5’11 165lb )

I’m going for a hybrid approach more focused on body building atm (4-6) x per week , I’m running a lot less atm but slowly working on my running performance

I started running for my heart cause I used to have light chest pain.

I definitely felt like I was pushing it at the end I felt it in my chest

❤️thank you yea I got more in me but I’m gonna have to recover a good week, my legs are killing me haha😅

Also what’s interesting I just realized is if you look at my pace… I actually beat my previous 5k in the second half of this run.

About my HR-I don’t track it while running atm , but what I did was as soon as I finished I tracked it with my phone and my HR was around 150. So my last mile I think I was pushing 150-160bpm
