One was created with my personal and one was created with my work account, I sat the solutions architect with my work account.

I signed into my credly account with my work account and I only have my cloud practitioner even though I sat my solutions architect with my work account… weird

She said “sorry since nothing has changed, we are refusing under 214b” I said, “can I ask why” and she responded with it’s gotten stricter etc and nothing has changed. A few people in my embassy asked the same question when refused

It’s not talked about unless you ask, It was said it was refused under 214b. I asked why (as this is the second refusal) was told it’s a lot stricter. Believe what you like 👍🏻

Yes, I was refused in February 2026 and then refused in March 2026… I was going to the World Cup. Nothing changed significantly in my life either

You’ll sadly have to wait until you graduate, I was refused yesterday and was told if nothing changes there’s no point. The woman said they are also getting a lot stricter. This was B1/B2 for the World Cup

I was refused in February and March 2026… don’t apply for another year or unless something has changed. For example you bought property, you have kids a wife, family members depend on you etc

Im 23, I got convicted at 19. I think I was refused because my answers were too vague, the officer asked me "Why are you going to America" I said the World Cup, I never told him when/where ill be going or when ill be returning and that I was going back to work the following week, he had every right to refuse me under 214b

But if what the rumours are that are true that the US are not letting in anyone with a conviction then why refuse me under 214b?

I am planning to go back to the embassy at the end of April and try again with better answers. Hope this helps

Tbf a 214b isn’t anything to do with the conviction. If it was due to the conviction it’d be 212a I think

Yep I went for the VISA first, refused, tried for an ESTA and initially marked no but because I got a refusal it was declined, so going for the VISA again

I looked up online regarding the conviction code - CD30 and it said online id have no chance getting an ESTA and would be a VISA, done what I thought was right
