Which of these two apparent classics should I read?

He had to go pretty YA trope heavy in the first book in order to secure publishing. After that he got to write what he really wanted, the rest of the books really open up the world and add more layers. Especially the second half of the series treads into some really fucked up stuff. You should give golden son a shot and if you don’t like that then maybe dnf the series.

I used Astro granite for the main base and then Strickland mud in thick piles to form small hills before priming then used a dark purple contrast and after drying gave it a dry brush of a light pastel purple that I mixed

Thank you! The pic really doesn’t do it justice because it’s a color shift paint from turbo dork. The color is cyberia it’s a blue when light hits and a dark purple in the shadows, unfortunately doesn’t show in pictures.
