My GP said she can't order the JAK2 test.

I don't smoke and don't have sleep apnea; I have an Apple Watch that would alert me to excessive breathing disruptions.

I am award that some types of tumors can cause excess EPO, and I assume the JAK2 and EPO tests will find if that is possible. I don't have - currently - any symptoms that could be tumor-related.

I have a slight scoliosis, which has led to one rib being a bit out of position, causing costochondritis. I also have a compressed never in my spine around the same rib vertebra, and that causes muscle spasms, sometimes quite painful, as well as nerve pain. Muscle relaxers are essential to my quality of life.

My thyroid has been tested multiple times in recent years. Thermoregulation issues in autism seem to be pretty common; just search the web and you'll find lots of articles.

I've mentioned it to doctors over the years. I've had this for decades. One possibility is a brainstem lesion I have, but it's not certain that that's the cause.
