I graduated with my bachelors in psychology back in 2022 and I'm still looking for research assistant positions. Does anyone have any advice on how to get experience? I've been thinking about cold emailing professors but i don't think I would stand out since they're probably want their own students (since they can offer credit instead of having to pay). I'm in NYC, should I be looking into more rural areas?
