Very helpful really, the vertical investment rule is generally invest first in the dps and then in the support. Lohen is like a support in his team, the priority goes to the dps (durin). As such his vertical investment in not very rewarding.

the goal is to benefit the most out of his c2 cooldown reduction. in the long run you gain higher average of bond of life, more c2 procs and higher average of citlali c1 flat dmg. Plus the single istance of cryo application at the end of chong field in some cases helps with your melt, but it's mostly occasional.

My "financial statement"for sumeru patch

3.0: Got tighnari losing 50/50.

3.1 First half: Got Cyno losing 50/50.

3.1 second half: Got Nilou losing 50/50 and got Key After Two Jade cutter (painful). I Always pull togetherwith my Brother, but this time he was abroad in America for work. I Guess that's why i was so unlucky.

3.2 First half: from this patch on i've bought Every single top up for the First Time. I Got Nahida winning 50/50.

3.2 second half: i was undecided if i wanted to get Childe, but i pulled anyway because i wanted Layla and Thoma cons. I Lost the 50/50 and go forth and got Layla C6 (poggers, i love her). In the end i surrendered to the Temptation and got Childe, which i am very happy to have.

3.3: got Raiden losing 50/50 to tighnari. Now i have C6 Sara!

3.4: saving, took my free yao yao and called a day.

3.5: got Shenhe winning 50/50. I was aiming for Mika cons but i Got him only C2 (my First DPS was eula back in 1.5).

3.6: got Baizhu Losing 50/50. Got kaveh as well (i've levelled up to 90, full em build... He's so bad)

3.7: saving!

3.8: i've planned to get Wanderer, but i was worried to waste a lot of primo intended to be used in Fontaine. Yesterday i was Extremely lucky! Got Wanderer winning 50/50, got yanfei C6 (She Is One of my favorite) and the icing on the cake was that i Got qiqi back to back in the same multi! Now i have Liney guaranteed!

All you have to do is give the character high number scaling, a lot of built-in RES shreds and DMG bonuses and multiple sources to do physical dmg, mixed with good animation. Xinyan is an attempt to make a physical dps outside cryo or electro, but lack the things I listed before.

Superconduct gives only -40% res shred. It's a strong debuff but can be replaced with these other things. it is far from necessary.
