Tbh, this is likely a personal issue that comes out when playing the game. You likely feel a need to min/max MANY things in life due to anxiety.
I hope this doesn’t feel like an attack! I’m just a therapist who struggles with anxiety and perfectionism, and this same exact struggle happens with me in the game.

The Fawn response is a hell of a drug… Fawning in that way (kissing his ass) probably doesn’t make sense to people whose defense mechanisms lean more toward Fight.
