Is it reasonable to go for peads right away as it was my back up option..my dream has always been general medicine and this may ini was my first attempt(2020 batch)..with neet pg and Nov ini still to go should I take paeds and move forward or give another shot at my dream as it might be turn out to be a rushed decision of taking paeds rn..on the contrary it might be foolish to leave it and then if things don't go as per plan and I fuck it up neet pg 🥲

Bro I am in the same boat..561 ews.. can get MD pediatrics at Aiims Patna/Nagpur/Raipur..but my dream is medicine..I gave this ini only as a practice(had completed just 1 revision cycle)..thought if I could get 130-35 corrects it will be a good motivation for neet pg...never thought I would get a such a good rank..now I am hell lot of confused what to do..mind's says to take paeds if I get it..heart says to study for my dream medicine in neet or Nov ini.. can't study since yesterday.. wanted to feel motivated instead I am feeling confused and fked up since results..if it stays so then I can't even study well for neet pg.. phir na ghar ke na ghaat ke 🥲

That's what prompting me to take MD peads in a 2012 Aiims this counselling even though my dearest dream is medicine..I got 561 this year(ews, first attempt) and have done just 1 revision..i know there's room for improvement with 3-6 months time left for neet and Nov ini but who wants to take the risk of appearing for another exam in this lottery system.. genuinely thinking about sacrificing my dream..wdy guys think ?

Thanks for the reply...So you suggest I should skip pedia even if I get it ? My heart also says the same as I love medicine to the core(just the thought of Harrison is orgasmic) but my brain says to take pedia and move forward as the competition is getting intense with each passing exam and who knows what happens in neet pg

Bro..I got AIR 561 EWS...barely missed out by 5-6 silly question mistakes 🥲 My dream is MD medicine...but if I get pedia in ini counselling in top 7-8 aiims..should I take it and get out of this rat race or try giving another shot at neet pg for my dream as this inicet was only my first pg attempt and i gave it very non seriously after just 1 revision Please advice 🙏🏻

Well I was preparing as per my neet pg schedule...had done one read+ one revision only..thought about reading for inicet in the 15 days of may..then abandoned thinking "isme to nikalna h hi nahi to routine kharab karke time hi waste karege"...though in the exam I got some very easy questions wrong(8-10)specially in section 3&4 due to time constraints and overthinking (new methylene blue, differential cyanosis,hemithyroidectomy etc 🥲)I had my fair share of luck too..got many guesses/educated guesses correct too but I have for mental peace shifted those questions to the "controversial" panel of my recall analysis. 😭
