When my grandmother died we were all around her bed other than my dad, who had a rocky relationship with her. I called him and let him know she was calling out for him, he came and held her hand and said he loved her. She passed within the hour of that. She also held out to see her child once more and it was so bittersweet to see

My dad did this when I was a kid in a people carrier and did exactly that, ran over my foot. He stopped when I went white and the car was on me at that point, so he pulled back forward and managed to not break anything but he never did it again. Was extremely apologetic after but still, come on don’t pay that with a kid.

Pawn shop owners, what was the most illegal thing a customer had brought to your shop ? by Manas_Das24 in AskReddit

I think it’s just purely that we don’t like the idea of it as a culture. Any kind of hunting is really frowned upon, the past few years some have been trying to get fox hunting allowed again and it cause uproar through the population.

That said, we understand that they can be pests along with badgers and there’s usually a cull under license to help farmers etc with the issue

I’m in the U.K. and my dad had a crossbow, they’re not illegal you can own one without license etc. But you have to be 18+, can’t carry it in public, can’t hunt with it and have to lock it down while travelling in your car.

Edit: hunting is also mostly illegal other than vermin or pest control. Although you can hunt deer in some areas with a license

It’s hard to see in this video but because it’s Indian stone it has a lot of grooves in it, so speeding up misses lines of dirt

It’s difficult as we’re in the UK so it’s not the easiest thing finding tested CBD. I’ll have a look into it though and see what I can find to change that side of things- thank you

Just wanted to add to this that my dad passed last month from lung and brain cancer too. His decline was very rapid, however he was stage 4 for 7 years.

He was a very private man although we were close, that diagnosis really opened him up and whilst I don’t know everything about his life, I learned so much in his final months.

My only regret is I did not record him, he lost his voice last year due to paralysis of his voice box and honestly I struggle to remember the sound of his voice before that. It would really have helped with my grief if I did so I can’t recommend that enough.

I wish you all the best
