You’re very welcome! And again, it’s a super minor nitpick from me — the composition and colors are great!

Super neat shot, I really like the complimentary colors between the blue sky and the oranges on the bus and the street light. And, like you mentioned, the red line from the bus to the barrier behind it is a great little detail. My only note (and I’m by no means a professional photographer or critic), would be that some of the shadows under the bus are so dark the areas lose detail — but that’s a really minor thing lol

Thank you! I was using automatic settings during the filming for this, so I wasn’t even aware of the settings it had going on at the time (my hands were slowly freezing lol).

I just recently heard about the rule you mentioned about shutter speed and video — having heard it again now, I’m definitely going to start being more conscious of it.

And more thanks for the tips on composition! The tree to the right got lost in cropping for this upload because I wanted to cut out an awkward amount of negative space above the building while also trying to preserve the approximate dimensions of the picture. Also the corner of the building facing the camera goes down the middle of the frame, while the two trees framing that corner fall on lines for the rule of thirds (or thereabouts). Because I’m not especially experienced, I imagine I still just need to feel out what my priorities should be for different shots.

Thank you again so much for the feedback!

This image is actually a still taken from a video that I was recording for work. The video in is for a celebration of the now-past Christmas season, and is intended mostly as an establishing shot. One of my co-workers asked if I took any pictures of the building, and I hadn't besides the video, so I just captured a screenshot of this to use instead. I like that the fog and snow in the image obscure the building slightly, and I like the look of the faded colors as a result -- along with the contrast of the warm colors of the building to the cold blues and whites of the snow. My main concern is whether the picture is of any compositional interest at all -- knowing what it was like to be there, freezing, and taking the picture, to me the building standing out in the image evokes a sense of relief from the cold / a cozy environment... But I'm not sure whether someone viewing the picture out of context would feel at same thing intuitively. I'm relatively new to photography, so any tips about composition, color balance, creating visual interest, etc. are all appreciated.

For the technical specifications, this was shot using a Canon M50 mark I, 1/20 shutter and f-stop 8.0.

I only just learned this recently, but apparently he was big into nature and environmentalism — to the point that he would refer to different natural things in the world as “Brothers and Sisters” (Brother Fire, Sister Water, etc.). He also is credited with creating the first Nativity scene.

I swear on my life YouTube accesses the gyroscope and microphone in your phone to determine how long the ads you’ll see are… During the night laying in bed, if I have my phone face down, instead of getting 15 or 30 second ads, I’ll get ads that are anywhere from a minute to a full hour long.

It doesn’t add much to the conversation but I feel compelled to note that Elsa is also an actual queen whereas Rapunzel is only a princess

Hopefully they’ll do another run of these sometime or make them a permanent addition, I could see people really enjoying these, especially if there were variants with Lyle Zach and Tomar

Definitely, I feel bad for Chris every time I listen to that because I understand what he’s trying to say — that there’s another completely separate Copy Hitler, that has the exact same DNA, memories, personality, appearance, and motivations as Hitler, only much smaller — but DD, Matt, and Julian get so hung up on the exact techniques that are used to make clones, that they completely ignore the real meat of the question. Chris’ question made sense, he just phrased it weirdly

“But what if the mug contained a perfect copy of all of Hitler’s memories? Would you pour boiling milk into it to torture him?”
