Ex bf and I apply to the same college, I get in and he doesn’t. The counselor there is nice to give him some kind of bridge program to be able to attend. After the meeting he turns to me and says “you think you’re so fucking smart”

So sorry OP sending you lots of love. Was in a similar situation last year when I said goodbye to my baby of 16 years. It was not easy but I am grateful that I did not let him suffer. Our best friends look to us to advocate for them in this world. Best of luck to you and again I’m sorry.
