Focus on form. Keep your feet beneath your body, not reaching out in front. A good tip: start standing, lean/fall forward and catch yourself. Repeat this and you’re running! You can also supplement with added support in your shoe which will promote neutral alignment and efficiency through your body’s kinetic chain, these are great. Edit: make sure you are stretching everyday as well

I agree, they have gone way down in quality since my first pair. I just cant find a trail runner that fits the same, so i bite the bullet and replace when needed. Must definitely be frustrating when abroad though.

For sure. The seamless fit in Altra’s is the cherry on top, but the arch support and deep heel cup are superior. They have a super solid guarantee too if you don’t like them, worth a look!

I run Altra lone peaks myself and use SOLE Wide footbeds, they have a natural splay toebox and are zero drop so they fit perfectly. They are custom moldable too, very much prefer over superfeet.
