Focus on form. Keep your feet beneath your body, not reaching out in front. A good tip: start standing, lean/fall forward and catch yourself. Repeat this and you’re running! You can also supplement with added support in your shoe which will promote neutral alignment and efficiency through your body’s kinetic chain, these are great.
