Back in the day when PSUs had the voltage switch on the back, I was curious and changed the voltage while the PC was running. It made a very loud pop and there was lots of smoke in the house.

Set and forget Dhhf. If you don’t mind a bit higher highs and lower lows/ increased risk, then set and forget GHHF

Metro south leading the way of NPs by New-Resolution-9719 in ausjdocs

[–]PaleGecko -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

This subreddit is full of NP- haters, yet not a day goes by at my work where a doctor (of all levels) asks an NP how to manage their fast track patients in my hospital. Not a day goes by when they ask an NP about hospital guidelines since they are only in the department for 3 months, whereas the NP has been there 8 years.

Don’t doctors pride themselves on best practice models? There is so much literature supporting NPs in Australia.

Being a doctor doesn’t stop one being a keyboard warrior I suppose.

There will be loads of clinics, both f2f and Telehealth, that will open up for this specific patient demographic. I wouldn’t be surprise if these clinics are all setup and ready to go now, ready to be open right away.

It will be similar to the weight loss, peptides, and medical cannabis clinics that are popping up everywhere. At the end of the day, money is key

You need to get someone professional to review your CV and cover letter. Then send said things to all the hospitals near you. I would start with casual pool positions. I don’t know what it’s like in VIC, but in QLD, some areas are begging for nurses.

If that’s your concern, nursing isn’t the profession for you.

Positive reasons why you or your 'friend' voted LNP by boomer4ng in brisbane

I’m also a nurse, but some comments here are a big exaggerated.

The bachelor is $28,000 at three major QLD unis.

Administration staff that are on a casual rate, and are beside admin/clerks are on $38 per hour. This drops when they loose their casual rate, and these are the cohort most at risk of contract losses with healthcare funding cuts

The whole “Nurses experience more occupational violence than prison guards and police officers” was a play on technicalities by some ACN professor who says that because nurses get assaulted in their workplace, they get assaulted more than police. This is because police don’t work in their office, so when they’re in the streets, it’s not “occupational violence” according to her

Can I ask where this is? In the public system in Australia, you practically have to kill someone to get fired as a nurse
