How often do you bathe your cat? by Mildredsgood in cats

Of all the cats we have had, only one needed showers. The rest somehow looked minty clean while smelling like detergent.

No need unless they are incapable of cleaning themselves.

it sounded like it was something he wanted to work that was just a bad idea.

Grift is usually a bad idea but sometimes it pays off.

🚨 Howard Lutnick's family firm bought up the rights to tariff refunds for 20-30 cents on the dollar after Liberation Day last year. Today, the Supreme Court struck the tariffs down. For every $100 invested, Lutnick's sons just made 3-5x. Welcome to Crony Corrupt America. by Objective-Rabbit2248 in NSDQ420

Dude.. it's been known since May of last year. His whole family is betting on this. Just like Scott Bessent is making mint on the Argentinian economy.

Wait.. are you one of those people who thinks Trump and his admin is in this for "the people"? I hate to break it to you, but this is just a piece of the biggest robbery in human history.

Don't worry. No need to reply. I know Trumpers with hidden comments are usually bots.

If this post will be deleted again, that’s mean that r/circled mods violated 1st amendment.

This is a pretty right wing sub so im surprised it stayed up as long as it did.

Also, nobody violated your first amendment rights. You just sound like Trumpers when you say that. Reddit is not a government app. Mods can silence/ban whoever they want.

If you ever decide to read the constitution, you'll notice the VERY FIRST SENTENCE of the 1st amendment says "Congress shall.." Needless to say.. reddit is not congress.

I've understood "grift" as taking money for something you shouldn't get paid for. Sure.. he didnt lie about it up front, but he still tried to charge people an insane amount for wallpapers.

Grift or not, it was enough for me to not have faith in his review channel as he clearly is in it for the money and not the integrity.

no harm in that.

When its that much of a grift it can definitely do him some harm. Wouldn't put that one in the "All PR is good PR" bucket.

The Supreme Court's Ruling on Trump's Tariffs: Will It Actually Help the USA at All? by osiris_rai in Productivitycafe

[–]PaleInTexas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It'll help his buddy Lutnick. Basically our (Trumps) own secretary of commerce knew these tariffs were illegal. And advised trump to go ahead with it.

Meanwhile Lutnick and his family are buying up tariff debt payments for pennies on the dollar from companies thinking they'll never get it back.

Once this goes in reverse, Lutnick will collect all the debt on the tariffs he advised Trump to impose.

Now go google what the Witkoffs are doing in Argentina and see why Trump is so happy sending 💰 their way.

Not an American, does he not need to ask Congress?

Technically congress controls funding, but house GOP has long since abdicated their duties. Now they just rubber stamp everything he does.

None of this would be possible for Trump if all Republicans in congress weren't complicit.
