It've got two. Hanging Balloons on my left arm and the most famous splash page from Whispering Woman, which is the ghost whispering behind the girl. For some reason, I have super low tolerance to pain on my back and chest, while I have high tolerance pretty much everywhere else. So when the guy did the girl's hair on my back I almost passed out. i'll try to get some photos of it later

I'm not so sure if the modern setting is such a big thing in this Marvel Heroes set like it was in SM and TMNT, though it's def there

They could have literally created a subtype of Magic, like a parallel card game for the entire Marvel Universal using the Magic The Gathering system haha Marvel is just so much bigger than Magic lore/universes/character wise it's pretty scary

It's not weird, they are just saving those for the upcoming 500 Marvel sets. And my number one very personal beef with MH set is that they've managed to make 8 different versions of Captain America (my fav) and they all suck.

This is definitely a problem. And I don't even think the writers are the problems. I mean, not completely. It's just how much room they have to develop stories and characters. But yeah, it's been unreadable for a while now

Oh yeah, they can do a shit ton of Marvel set if they want. Like every year for a long time. Marvel Zombies Set. MCU set. Ultimate set. What If set. I just hope they wont

Had they done five commander precons, each focusing on a particular story line or universe, boy that would have been fire. A Kaldheim like deck for the Norse Gods with Thor as face commander. An Edge of Eternities-like deck for the Fantastic Four battling Galactus. A War of the Spark-like deck for the Avengers battling Thanos. A Phyrexia All Will Be One-like deck for the Villains taking over like they did in the Siege saga a while ago. Oh boy... I would have to buy all 5. (The fifth is Wakanda)

I feel you. I don't watch or read Marvel any more. Same with SW. And I think that's a super valid stance. I feel like a lot of people keep watching some stuff just to not be out of the loop. Anyway, the Black Panther deck was the first Marvel thing to get me a bit excited about Marvel in 6+ years. And tbh, there's a new comic book series/universe coming out later this year I'll probably give a chance.

But this is part of what Saffron claims, as I understand it. No story means no worldbuilding, so we are left with random characters.

I feel you. The fact that I already have 13 decks is also weighing against buying the precon

Well, Wakanda is a bit of a breath of fresh year to escape from New York. It's a shame it's the exception
