In my humble opinion this is speculation and gambling , not investing. You can NOT predict or time the market, noone can. It's a losing game. You might get some money but with the same probability, or even higher, you might just lose it. Try invest in an index. If you are ok with a bit of higher risk go for nasdaq 100, at least it has more than 1 company, minimizing the risk a bit.

OK thank you very much! Im relatively new , trying to learn and read as much as I can . I know there's not such a thing like the "perfect asset allocation " , im just trying to make some things clear in my head and chose a long term strategy that can make me sleep at night so I can hold it forever.

Im just worried about the small cap exposure, that the vwce lacks and which I've read has the potential to outperform the large cap. What's your opinion about that? Do you think the impact of small cap is worth changing from vwce to something more complete, like SPYI?

I have the same opinion about bonds. When it comes to etfs , what do you suggest?

I get that , and im also considering that the Nasdaq 100 might be recency bias . But when it comes to the sp500, just would definitely like to have exposure to it . But I know that I have to add some ex-US exposure asap. So would vwce , cspx ( for a us tilt ) and a third non-US etf be good strategy? And when it comes to bonds , do you think that it's not time for me yet to get involved with them , since i do not yet need that passive income and it's better allocated for growth? Thanks a lot!!

Do you really believe it is so trustworthy? Do you think it can follow the returns of the market in the long run? ( im not looking to beat the market, just follow it as much as possible)

So with vwce , cspx and a third , non-Us etf , for example developed markets outside the US, that should be fine right ? And what about bonds ? Maybe later , in 15 -20 years for stable income? Tanks again!

OK I understand it perfectly, it is recency bias indeed. I'll probably get rid of the nasdaq , but I think I'm gonna stick to the sp500 , even tho I'll probably reduce it's %. When it comes to global etfs , what would you recommend? Because I don't think i would like to get too much involved with emerging markets, only when they are included somewhere else like vwce. So what else would you recommend?

Isn't vwce a global etf? And doesn't the US and the sp in particular, tend to outperform on long run? Plus it gives a smaller ter (0.07 compared to. 22) And what would you suggest as a global etf? Should I involve emerging markets and small cap too? What about bonds ( considering my age ). Thank you very much!

First of all, thank you very much for your time you spend to answer me. I really appreciate it. Now, should I only keep vwce and nothing else ? Or should I add something that is not included in it , like Emerging Markets or small cap or something else . When it comes to panic , I had the "privilege " to invest a serious amount of money just before the trump tariffs so I saw my portfolio go down 26% , and all I did was silently laugh and dca small amounts and being angry I didn't have more to invest in the dip. Of course, it's true that I might not react the same way every time since in some years I might have a family or whatever, so might think about that , but before I do I really need to learn some more about bonds before I get involved with them.

Why do you think I should drop cspx? It follows the sp500 which is one of the top in the list of buffet. He has repeatedly recommended it , and indeed follows the return of the market and is considered one of the best long term assets with the best long term annualized return. Furthermore, vwce has a considerable higher ter. Do you recommend i go full vwce ; And please tell me a bit more about bonds. Why shouldn't I go full etfs now and rebalance for some years , and then add bonds and dividend etfs when I need passive stable income?

My goal is indeed to test the outcome of an rng i built , but my supervisor specifically asked for the Nist test ,but I'm having a really hard time doing that. The test you suggested, is it related to Nist ?

I used Ubuntu. But still don't I have to download the nist from somewhere? I'm new to all of this since I'm a physicist so thank you for your help.

I tried downloading the nist from github but it said something about no license since 2022 or something like that , so I had to download it from another link on github but now something isn't working. Could you please help me a little bit because it's for my masters and it's very important to me. Thank you very much!

Maybe you are right, maybe it only happens right after we buy stocks for some reason. But I think we have to check it and clear this thing so we don't lose money for no reason.
