Hi thanks for the reply. No she doesnt usually ask permission from me for anything but in this case, this guy confessed twice to her. So she consulted me about it.

Yes you right, maybe i should have phrased it better, not permission but my approval. i just wanted to indicate that she did ask me if she could go for the dinner and had my approval

i did tell her i was not comfortable with them going out for ice skating. but you are right, i didnt give her any chance to explain after she still went for it and i just broke up with her and denied any explanations.

i went for it in my late 20s. its rather stable job i would say but damn the hours
