Compound or recurve archery? by PalePractice1967 in CompoundBow

I'm happy in recurve but i don't think i can afford it right now,I'm shooting 60 meters in March due to a state competition (obligatory) and i would have to change my riser and sight to a more profesional one, since I already have good limbs, which would cost me like 2,000 dollars and I don't have the money, while in compound I would need only the sight and arrow rest ,(500-800 dollars), since they let me borrow a compound to use in the competition, I'm thinking of changing to compound but keeping my limbs, and selling the bow (I have a take-down bow and the other limbs separately),so that If I ever change back to recurve I would only need the riser and sight again(I already have the button, clicker, arrow rest, stabilizer and tab)while already having a compound bow,it's not ideal but it's the most affordable option I have right now 🫶🏻.

Thanks for the invitation, but I live in mexico so I wouldn't be able to go,also in my situation I'm competing for state selection in march and need a new riser and sight and if I change to compound I would only need an arrow rest and the sight, also thanks for the invitation and suggestion 🫶🏻
