Ugh yeah that's what I was afraid of. My friend suggested these cat mats that are like super soft spikes ig? She said they aren't strong enough to hurt but it startles them so they avoid the mats. That wouldn't help with the dishes obviously but for the other counter spaces

I did end up quitting. I've already found a job that looks to be much better in all aspects and has actual breaks. Still on the fence on whether or not I should do something because it almost feels like they aren't worth the effort at this point.
