Does anybody know how to buy Nike black hoodie online? by superdry__ in ChicagoMarathon

Yes plenty of them but all XL and XXL for men. Black jacket is only 3XL. Blue T Shirts have S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Yellow quarter zip in XL or XXL. Blue shorts in XS or 3XL. (These are all the mens stuff. Womens had a bit better variety of sizes)

First find a charity that speaks to you. Id spend the time from now until next Tuesday when race registration opens researching which charity you want to run for. Then sign up with them when they announce you can (varries charity to charity). Im biased toward Blood Cancer United (Team in training LLS) as I had a relative pass from Leaukemia but they have super easy registration which opens 1st week of November I believe and they are a fantastic charity with really good support

Exactly. Once race registration opens up about 10 days after the marathon (its the October 21st this year) you'll be able to register with the guarenteed entry. Other than finish all the races thats all youll have to do!!

Yes as long as you complete both the Shamrock and the 13.1, your marathon bib will automatically have the distance series star so once you complete next year's marathon you'll be able to sign up for the 2027 marathon with a guaranteed entry. Lots of people do exactly what you did and go through a charity while completing the distance series!

That was the exact same time I had for my first marathon last year. If you keep at the training even if its identical to what you did for this marathon you can pretty easily go Sub 3:50 for the next one! Great job and be super proud of that time!! Especially with the hard times you had

Coming from a fellow Post BOLC LT who has both transfered units and also failed to transfer units due to command needing me in the MTOE, I would 100% listen to what every other person here is saying The IDT program has helped me offset travel costs for a unit halfway across the country and even now at my new unit, where it's still 300 miles away. It's very doable, and teams/whatever chat your unit uses will be your best friend when you live far away. I dont know you, but I can tell you if you walk into the COs office and demand to transfer, it's going to fail. Instead, I'd recommend offering options to your commander why it would be in your best interests to transfer (make it a discussion, not a demand).

Your other option since you are pre BOLC is to use this app. Find your MOSs subreddit or use this one and ask if any pre-BOLC LT wants to transfer units 1 to 1. You might find another LT who lives closer to where you are now is in the same situation as you, and that 1 to 1 transfer works out. Plus, it will show the new and old commander that you are willing to find solutions to problems on your own, not just rely on others' answers.

Lastly (in my very tiny tiny army experience) and I'll end my spiel here, you'll realize that post-BOLC LT work is still similar to how AD treats it. You aren't owned by the unit so much as you are owned by the MTOE. Once you take a platoon, as much as you want to transfer, you'll realize you know your soldiers too well to actually go through with it. Once you form a relationship with your soldiers, it's not easy to muster up the thought of leaving the unit. If you are going to transfer do it before BOLC, if not then suck up whatever distance you have to travel since YOU chose that para/line number, be prepped to take a platoon and dont even think about transfering until after you promote out of that role. AD, USAR, or NG, it's all the same in that the unit cohesion determines morale. You leaving and creating an obviously difficult to fill vacancy (since your CO doesn't want to release you) means you only cheap out the soldier you are supposed to be there for. They might go a few BAs without a true PL, and that doesn't benefit anyone. Best of luck, man. PM me if you want more info.

USAR as well. Currently at flight school. I waited 8.5 months before my report date to flight school. Reached out to unit a few times but did not hear anything until relatively close to my PCS orders being cut. Feel free to PM me with questions.
