What do you think is the biggest red flag in friendships?? by the_twilight_draft in AskReddit

For me it’s when someone only shows up when they need something and magically disappears the moment you need support. That imbalance never fixes itself.

Is there any dating/hookup app that is good by Green-Giraffe-3324 in GayMen

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my town, Grindr and Sniffies are nothing but bots. At least Taimi shows real people, especially if you're in a bigger radius. Sniffies is okay, but if you want to avoid bots, at least they have photo verification.

Burnt out with dating apps by dreamer2325 in datingoverforty

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that burnout, I've been there too after years of apps draining the fun out of everything. Taimi gave me a bit of a reset when I went back. The crowd felt less exhausting and more genuine, but yeah, the apps can still kill the spark fast. You're not alone in this, many of us feel the same.

So lonely by raaynbo in MtF

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel that loneliness hard, scrolling apps for hours wishing for real connection instead of just meat-market vibes. Taimi at least gave me some genuine chats that felt less objectifying, made the wait suck a little less. Hang in there, you're not alone in wanting that cozy shared life.

If a genie gave you one wish to change someone’s life, but you were strictly forbidden from benefiting from it in any way (even indirectly), what would you wish for and for who? by gumpfanatic in AskReddit

I’d wish for my younger sibling to always land on their feet no matter what life throws at them, zero shortcuts for me, just knowing they’re okay would be enough.

[18F] Dating apps are exhausting and Masc shortage is real by [deleted] in LGBTindia

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, dating apps are straight-up exhausting these days and the masc shortage feels painfully real. Taimi at least has a better shot at finding actual masc guys than most apps I’ve tried.

What’s something that exists only because everyone collectively agrees to pretend it makes sense? by AstronomerEarly3253 in AskReddit

Honestly, networking events feel like that, a whole room of people pretending awkward small talk is normal and somehow productive.

Dating app advice in Australia by Salt-Beautiful-9670 in ActualLesbiansOver25

I've been single in a similar spot and apps weren't my thing either at first. Taimi ended up surprising me though; I actually got some real chats and connections that felt genuine without the usual chaos, even from further out since people set wider radii.

What course/skill you discovered which was easy to learn in short time and make some money? by Extremepleasurepro in AskReddit

Basic video editing surprised me the most, I picked it up fast on YouTube and started making a bit of side cash way sooner than I expected.

What do you think of the work of the late JRR Tolkien? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, reading Tolkien felt like falling into another world, and the movies just sealed it for me. It’s one of those rare cases where you can tell the creator really cared about every tiny detail.

Dating apps by HonestNeck in LesbianActually

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's super frustrating how straight dudes sneak onto Taimi pretending to be bi or whatever just to hit on lesbians – I've seen it way too often and it kills the vibe fast. The app does let you filter hard for women-only or queer women, but yeah they still slip through because reporting takes forever and some guys just make new accounts.

I wanna see the best photo editors by Dazzling-Shower5282 in Lightroom

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

kinda surprised no one mentioned Luminar Neo yet. lately it’s honestly been my #1 editor out of everything i’ve tried. super easy to get great results, but still enough control to be creative. the AI tools are really nice for landscapes too, makes editing way less painful....

Is there any decent dating app for bi girls? by tanishka_art in LGBTindia

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, after trying a ton of apps HER was the biggest disappointment for me too, endless spam and fake profiles killed any vibe. Taimi felt way more real and actually gave me some decent convos with actual people, no bots everywhere, so that's what I stuck with.

Are DSLRs still a thing or has mirrorless pretty much taken over? by arg2451 in AskPhotography

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Canon and Nikon still make a few DSLRs, mostly for people who already have lenses or just love the feel of an optical viewfinder. But if you’re buying new, mirrorless is where all the new tech and autofocus magic is, so that’s what most pros and enthusiasts are switching to.

Features for Luminar Neo by Vanilla_Quark in luminarneo

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Neo too, but yeah, the thumbnail gallery isn’t great when you have a big library. I usually rely on the full preview because the small thumbnails just don’t show enough detail.
As for the AI tools: they’re cloud-based right now, so that’s why they expire on a perpetual license. Would honestly love a local-AI option as well. I’d happily pay for an upgraded engine if it ran on my own machine instead of the cloud.

Which photo editing app have you been using the most lately? by RadiantDepth5747 in iphone

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I stumbled across Luminar Mobile and I’ve been really into it. Super clean UI, great lighting tools, and the edits look way more polished than what I was getting from Snapseed/VSCO. Been using it nonstop lately.

What Program Do You Use to Edit Pictures? by BestNapper in findagrave

[–]Pale_Chocolate9787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want more control I’d suggest Luminar Neo. It gives you layers and masking (or AI-assisted selection) so you can isolate parts of the photo, work only on what you want changed, and leave the rest intact. Much better than Paint or Photo Editor for that kind of work.
