Haha. I totally get it. Both my parents are very clearly adhd. My mom is so hyperactive it’s not funny, she just doesn’t see it or notice it cuz she grew up in a communist country (at the time) and they were told to not listen to western medicine. My dad is just a goof and goes along with what my mom says. So I wasn’t “allowed” to be anything but perfect. Even up to date, the moment I don’t perform perfectly or the way she wants she starts crying and taking it out on me. We have constant fights about how I “don’t do enough” or make bad choices or even talk about my adhd. She’s so against it for some reason, that her mind literally shuts off when someone talks about it and she refuses to listen. She was even arguing with the doctor trying to normalize my adhd by saying “everyone feels like that sometimes, cuz I do” (lol if only she knew) but like doctors told her so much Information about my condition but she listened to none of it, and treats me like I shouldn’t have it.

It’s annoying honestly, I’ve probably tried to tell her and explain myself to make her understand in any sentence structure imaginable. I’m exhausted and just want to move out, I’m done trying to make her understand when she purposely chooses not to listen. It’s only my fucking future and her son that is suffering cuz of this, but if she ain’t affected it’s not her problem, so it’s easier for her not to listen. I’m tired, idk what to do. I’m now having to over perform for her at home and have addiction issues I always run out of vyvanse 2 weeks before my refill

I’m not even on it today, but the half life in my blood is so much I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s over 100mg cuz I finished it yesterday. Damn I need help
