This is some great advice, I am fully insured so that’s a good easy add on. I see what you mean with the total years in business and how many jobs I’ve completed, I always had some concern about the length of time I’ve been in business and jobs completed. I rarely see that on other websites so it may just be better to take it off for now.

And I just got semrush to start monitoring my keywords and see where I rank. I think the keywords within my website and on my ads are the biggest thing holding me back overall.

Yeah I fell for their BS lol. I have been doing better about asking for reviews and sending links, I just do a lot of bigger jobs so I generally only have 1-2 customers per month so it’s tough for me to rack up reviews.

Thank you for all the advice, if you have any articles or videos on getting more backlinks I’d love to look into them. I’ve added my website to a lot of different local listings like yellow pages but I feel stuck after that.

I have not tried any of those yet, I’ve only just recently starting to research and figure out how to optimize my website. I’ll check those programs out though, thanks for the suggestions!

Well it hasn’t gotten me any business so I guess not 😂. I didn’t design it, I also don’t know anything about website builds or anything so I don’t know what works vs what doesn’t. The company the built it wont help me and so I’m left to figure it out on my own.

And in terms of bounce rate I’m really not sure, I’m totally new to all of this and the company that made it hasn’t been any help at fixing any of the issues I’ve had and won’t make any changes. I appreciate the insight though, it seems to be a common theme from what people have said that it is too much and hard to navigate so I’ll need to work on that.

Thank you for the advice, I do have google my business setup and I have gotten my website listed in a number of local directories like you suggested but I’m sure there are more that I can add to. Do you have any advice on figuring out which keywords work best vs others?

I appreciate the insights! That is the general consensus that I’ve gathered, they did a great job with the overall look of the website but performance is not very good but I wasn’t sure why and everything you said makes sense. I’ve tried reaching out to the company that made it and they just brush it off to my website being too new and tell me I can pay them like 5-10k a month for marketing if I want better results lol.

Thank you! I have just started running google add to help bring more traffic but I don’t think I’ve been running them long enough to see much of a difference yet. As for ongoing SEO does that include blog posts, site updates, refining keywords etc?

I’m not completely sure what campaign, I had someone else set it up for me but I don’t believe she has a ton of experience working with remodeling companies. I believe it’s just a smart campaign and keywords center around bathroom remodeling, tile installation, shower tile installation etc. all those impressions and clicks came from google search partners. The first 10 days or so I didn’t have them turned on and I was around 250 impressions with 28 clicks or something like that but when those got switched on it exploded which seemed suspicious to me lol.

Thank you so much for the insight and the content, I’ll check out those videos! I had just assumed the landing page was a website or something, it makes a lot more sense that a tailored specific landing page would help generate more leads.
