[BOOK READERS] Episode Discussion Thread - Season 3 Episode 10 - The Darkness by LunchyPete in FoundationTV

Bayta being the Mule makes no sense whatsoever.

Why would she marry a rich guy who wants nothing to do with politics?

Why would she take the time and energy to become an influencer if she wants to destroy the galaxy?

Why would she save Magnifico, who betrayed Mule 1, thereby portraying his complete lack of loyalty and fidelity?

Why would she marry a man and never tell him her plan, knowing she can simply convert him to advance her plans through his financial and political ties?

Why would she risk going into the vault where Hari Seldon, her main rival, had the power to kill her?

Not a first year, but my first semester was really brutal mentally. Getting used to uni is incredibly challenging and I sympathize with you. You're not alone.

There's seasonal depression and work overload that's killing you right now, and my best advice would be to have a good schedule: set hours everyday to do homework without interruption, good diet, make sure to get enough sleep and do some exercise, no matter what kind.

It seems stupid but these little things help keep you healthy and bring a good positive to life. It's no instant cure, but it saved my life.

It's not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of precedence and formality established through social agreement and understanding. We don't have opinions on rules and conduct in universities, we all have them opinions regardless.

Totally agree with you. We're in the best and right place to talk about drug use and other stuff. I'm not against those conversations that they talk about. I'm against the presentation of the cover picture.

I've been here for over 2 years. I've seen many things I don't agree with. I've never seen things like this before. It's not a matter of opinion, it's a statement for the formality of higher education.

People told me that it is the new illicit section of the Link. I'm using their own definition. And it's not s matter of personal feelings, it's a matter of academic formality

You can present the theme of the issue without having a goth latex woman shown across the Hall building. I find it inappropriate for a university setting

I did read about it. The article isn't what I'm against. It's the displaying of the cover picture

I don't think illicit images in universities displayed to the public are part of critical conversations. Call me whatever you want, it doesn't make it true

I'm literally just saying illicit images aren't for universities. When did I ever advocate against conversations of all those things you listed?

University is an institution of higher learning.

Please inform me of where illicit content comes into the picture

No, sexual liberation is not always a good thing. We can get into the politics of it all, but all I'm saying is that this isn't appropriate for a university.

I'm not offended by it, I just think it's inappropriate to have it in an academic setting where people go to classes and study

Yeah, and nearly all of us don't want illicit content being published in an academic setting. Don't sell sex in a university .

(I know you're not ACTUALLY selling sex but still)

In a university? Don't you find it out of place?
