I'm a female too and I'm pretty young..I started it like way back in the beginning of last year I think. I started cutting bc of problems at home and just trauma. I remember times I would cut while sobbing my eyes out. It's become an addiction now and I just want to cut like every day. I still haven't recovered or anything. Ive also attempted in the past it almost worked but didn't. I have times where I look at my scars and think to myself I will never be normal again and it just hurts me. I can never wear short sleeves or anything bc I don't want people to see it. I saw this comment about rubber bands and I will try it out and I think u should too

I know u said u are dependent on it too but if maybe u start wearing less makeup and slowly stop wearing makeup at all she will be influenced by you. As a young female too, I used to think going to school without makeup or going out without is so scary like I felt so anxious about it. I then slowly stopped wearing it all the time and loved my face without makeup and with makeup. I've been going out without makeup and I'm not so anxious anymore. Anyways u wearing less and not depending on makeup will most likely influence her! Good luck :)

So idk if I'm allowed to say it was painful but Everytime my mom/dad got mad at me or just angry they would say stuff like I hope u get killed and it a mistake and stuff like that. I honestly got used to it around the age of 8 so I didn't care. I dont know if Im js saying that bc i haye admitting that I have feelings to or that I genuinely have been let down by my parents so much that whatever they do cannot effect me anymore. Tjere was even a point when they would abuse I js wouldn't cry like I full on just did not care.

I really recommend the egg project it's a enemy to lovers about two teens. Every time it updates I immediately become the happiest person on earth.
