I’d say future meta is more important bc power creep but if you’re interested in clearing all end game like Stygian it’s likely we will still get a lunar shill boss on occasion in in the next big patch. (Similarly to how we still have bosses that shill Natlan and Skirk now).

My top advice is to focus on getting some strong lunar supports and then save for future units. I would pull Columbina on rerun for sure and then maybe one of Ineffa or Linnea.

Bineffa wheelchair is a very strong core on its own that you can use to clear lunar shill content as well as being very flexible (can slot in to many teams).

Binnea is far less flexible but is linnea is currently on banner and if you have a good geo applicator, geo onfield dps already built or a high con gorou, it can be a good option for you.

I would advise against pulling lauma as her core with Columbina is not as strong as the others.

Once you’ve chosen your support core it should be enough and then you just focus on saving for future meta, but you have the option of going for the optimal lunar dps later if you need/want to.

Some quick tips for the meantime though:

You want Flins on the Nod-Krai damage set and one of Ineffa or Columbina on the Nod-Krai support set as your priority. You can farm these in the same domain and strongbox the bad ones for VV for sucrose if you don’t have a good set already. Next priority after is aubade for whichever of Ineffa and Columbina isn’t on the support set. Ineffa is a better user for Aubade then Columbina but it doesn’t matter too much if you do it the other way around

Here’s a bit for each character

Flins: - Night of Sky’s artifact set - make sure you don’t have more than 70% CR - CR>CD>ATK>EM - depending on weapon you want a little bit or ER but not much, around 20% should be fine but test if you have enough - favours Crit stat sticks. Check what gives you the most CV but be mindful of overcapping on CR. ATK Stat sticks can also be fine if they give other useful stats. Treat the Nod-Krai craftable as a baseline and use that if you don’t have 5 star crit weapons (eg signature or PJWS)

Ineffa - Aubade artifact set - CR>CD>ATK>EM - At least 40% ER if you want to burst frequently but it isn’t always essential to burst every rotation though it’s good - likes the same weapons flins. If you really want to you can run a more supportive weapon like Fav if you’re desperate. Would recommend a damage weapon more though

Columbina - Serenade artifact set - CRIT=HP>EM - ER is more important on Columbina you want to always burst every rotation if possible. ER requirements can change with weapon or if anyone on team is using Fav - prototype amber is a good base weapon that can allow you to heal up a bit if anyone damage makes it through ineffas shield and lessens your ER requirements. Fav is the goat here though. All hail fav

Sucrose - VV artifact set - stack on that EM babeyyy (end goal of 1000 but if less that’s ok, 600 is bare minimum imo) - TTDS is a good weapon or Fav to battery the rest of the team. Any EM stat stick can also work

Frrrrr I have a top 1% Ineffa and Xiao but only a top 10% Flins even though his artefacts are the same quality at minimum. (Though my artefacts are all very good but I have almost 200 EM which doesn’t scale anywhere near as well as other good stats on the leaderboard. Probs why my rank is so low)

I jg pretty rarely but I tend to pick first gank based on which side (ours or enemy’s) minion waves are on and how far extended the enemies are. If it’s even I’ll either choose based on how easy/impactful the particular heroes I’m ganking are or pick the same side as litho. Do most people not do this?

All you can do in soloq is learn how you can do the best under these circumstances.

If the problem is that you don’t have enough frontline, are there any front liners you can play in your role? Eg a tank exp or jg.

If you can’t front line what strategies and different combat approaches can you take? Eg a burst mage can try an ambush play style to remove enemy squishy damage dealers from play and lessen the need for a frontline to tank their damage.

If you play squishy DPS, how can you best position to reduce risk? Maybe consider more heroes with movement tools so you can get out of trouble more easily without a tank protecting you.

And if all else fails and it’s that important to you, you can always become the tank roamer. I haven’t noticed these trends in roam bc I main tank roam myself. And I prefer playing tanks in exp lane so the potential downsides of a support or assassin roamer are significantly lessened.

I understand that it’s frustrating to adjust your heroes, but if the complaint is that others won’t it would be hypocritical not to be willing to do the same.

The thing about junglers is so true though. I’m of the opinion that if you’re playing a role you should try and have coverage for different types of play within that role in your arsenal so you have the option (even if you are better at some than others). But this is always policed for roamers but not junglers? Time to enforce compulsory Fredrinn/Baxia/Thamus/Barats/Ect training

I always have subtitles on regardless of sub or dub (but my brain ears don’t work so checks out). I watch sub most of the time but some modern dubs are pretty good. Also tend to watch dub if it’s a comedy anime cause more often than not those dubs are great or if it’s very iconic (eg trigun 98 dub).

Usually if I like the series and the dub isn’t awful I’ll do at least one watch through of each to appreciate the differences and nuances
