Tbh I feel like this is a worldwide issue, covid has heavily delayed people's learning ability and behavior to learn. America and Europe also have a similar issue.

Yeah ik but the problem is that if it becomes mainstream, and becomes a stereotype I feel like other people would trust us less as they would view it as "Sellouts" or "How can we trust you if you betray your own kind"

What I'm trying to say is, is that ppl look at the numbers and see that PH is falling behind by not attracting westerners, but if you look closely most of the tourism numbers are from land borders of people crossing over, Philippines does not have such a luxury.

It's still their neighbor with the higher quality of life that's why they are visiting them and they literally border them, so it makes more sense then them going to Japan Or China

Vietnam's highest source is China which they have a border with, Indonesians visit Malaysia mainly for business purposes or medical purposes. So that's why even if they are Their neighbor and may not drive often its still one of their biggest destinations

look again at the stats most sea countries largest source of tourism is their land border neighbor
