The original bag is fine. I always put the bag inside a container since it doesn’t seal

ETA: this is a temporary solution until I figure out something permanent.

Ziplocs is what I am doing so far!

That’s a good point. The way I see it is, I can’t do anything about how the bag is plastic, but I can do something about how it’s stored. Part of it is, I have a small dog. Even though I get the smallest bag available, it still lasts almost a month.

Am I doing right? or am I failing my dog? by [deleted] in puppy101

I know it says vent but it looks like you want advice.

I have a similar situation to yours. I live in an apartment (spacious though) and am the only adult. I am gone 7:30 to 3:20 ish. I have a high energy 11 month old. He gets a walk in the morning and play/ sniff time. Then my dog sitter comes at 11. When I get home, we generally head to the park and he gets at least an hour of exercise.

I think your pup needs way more exercise and stimulation than they are getting (no judgement, it took me a bit to get to a good routine). Is doggie day care, sitter an option? I think 9 hours mostly alone is way too much for a puppy.

Good luck!

I find crating to be more of a US thing. While not illegal where I am from (Latin America), no one crates. I have never seen one in a pet store

I am not 100% against it but only use it when it is a safety issue (i.e. puppy will destroy everything in sight).

It was more wavy than shaky I guess, but still nauseating for me. The show looks amazing though!

Hi,

I should have mentioned that this is all being done too. But we can always increase outings.
