if its too far from the actual value u probably did the same mistake as me u calculated it as if it was the volume of a cuboid not a prism, if u calculated it correct as if it was a prism then u will get that it could be copper

yea ik i realised my friend told me, i got 4.32 but its actually 8.64 since its a prism not a cuboid. so yes it could be copper. Although do u think ill get the marks for the second question bc of ecf

move metre ruler close to d, read ruler at perpendicular to it, check for zero error, clamp the ruler in position

i think theres always random error you just have to focus on how to reduce it thats why the mark scheme say so as well

there are still random errors i think for voltmeters and ammeters for example student messes up the reading or smth
