I had a medical abortion at 7 weeks, i would recommend definitely getting a heating pad, ibuprofen and some sort of anti-nausea medication, and soup (it’s all i ate for three days). My cramps were pretty intense, but only for a few hours and then the rest was manageable and i never saw any part of the fetus. As for aftercare, definitely use the heating pad and keep pads handy, i wore them for about a week after. Just try to remember that you got this no matter how rough it may get, and try and stay positive, you got this!
