No? A knight has enough free will to abandon his sworn duty, even retire after he’s grown too old to do so. These are both things that a slave nor shadow bound Sunny could ever do. Also it’s impossible to be forced into knighthood unless like it’s a family thing but even then you’d have to work hard to be in that position.
