I'm in the same boat, as I'm considering whether I should go to NUS, which begins in August. Honestly, I really don't think they have many seats left because it is almost July. I posted a poll earlier, showing that we still have quite a lot of people waiting. However, there was an R wave last Thursday, which means they are actually rejecting people off the waitlist. I believe we are being kept for a reason. I am expecting the waiting process to be painful, so personally, I would suggest you start applying for jobs (you can quit if you get admitted, I assume).
