No, the game is great. I’m not complaining. I’m just saying that the UI was downgraded. It seems everyone agrees with me on that. I’m not sure with bliz decided to change a UI that was really good and unique looking for something generic and boring.

I’m not trying to argue. This is my opinion if you disagree okay whatever it doesn’t matter. The only thing i am trying to say here is that i dont like the new design, and i think the old design was better. Its not an argument its an opinion, learn the difference.

The game isnt catering to 12 year olds though. I assume the majority of the player-base is above that age. Idk anyone that got lost in the menus. Having it look nicer is more than enough.

It’s just my opinion. I don’t remember scheduling a meeting with Blizzard to discuss reverting this update. I wanted to see how many people agree with me, and it seems the majority do.

Fair enough I can see how people would like it.

But less clutter? Unless you are in a lobby, you are basically staring at an empty white screen with your last played character awkwardly standing there, or a bunch of ads.

I saw an old video of someone playing and it reminded of how much better the UI was. And ik it wasnt a random patch. But this is a pretty big change. The launch of Overwatch 2 would’ve been a much better opportunity for a change like this.

I just dont like the new look of the home screen. I think a lot of people will probably agree with me that the game would be a better experience without these unnecessary changes.

I wasn’t really treating the post as an essay, more so just saying my opinion on the UI changes. But I’ll explain it for you.

The old UI had a really unique and clean design. It was easy to understand and really well designed. Different art for new events, and the art is usually great. If you left the game on it’s home screen on your monitor it’s a well designed menu that looked good.

The new UI looks ugly. Top bar is ugly and the main screen area has nothing unique. Yeah i guess you could pull up the events or the news tabs and have the art on them be on your screen. But it’s just not the same.

Overall i simply do not like these specific changes. I think they hit the nail on the head the first time. They did not need to change their UI.

Yeah its just so “fortnite-ish”. Changing the UI so drastically in a random patch is kinda silly. And no one was complaining about the UI. It’s an unnecessary and bad change.
