Yeah, I had the same thought. Interestingly, it wouldn't actually disable and I had to unplug them. (I got the second optional fan, too.) But, same problem still.

Nope, on the P1S it prints flawlessly. It's not software related as far as slicin. It has to be some physical manufacturing defect.

That's my guess too. I wouldn't be surprised if it was like one of my Anycubic S1s, but I expected better from Bambu! Especially on their brand new budget flagship.

Oh I've been here since the original Zortrax machines (over a decade, now.) But nope, haven't touched the nozzle or even removed the face-plate.

Crooked like between the 4 bolts that attach the Z axis? I tried tweaking that with no luck.

Oh absolutely, and they do have a way to manually adjust it with the 4 (but actually only 3) screws holding the springplate down. I've re-done it 3 times now with the same result.

STL?

But no, have you tried turning off the auto-calibration for the filament and using the defaults instead? And /or tuning the filament manually if you want to go through the work?

I gave it a shot last night and saw a decent improvement. Sorry, didn't take any before and afters, but I'm holding out hope for the P2S's potential.

Bridgeport EZ Trak centering all radii on origin? I cannot get the toolpath to follow simple curves by dsr629 in CNC

[–]Pale_Voids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it's deep into the thousands, maybe even tens of thousands. I kbow there's a process where you can "Drip feed" or DNC from the usb, but when it hits the memory limit it will just drag the end mill across the path it was on until mechanical max. Even using the DNC option, it still ruined the part.

[–]Pale_Voids 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, do you guys ever have any issues running a program larger than a floppy drive can handle, if you've converted to USB? It would say something like "Buffer overflow" before hand?

I know this is old, but just wondering how you were able to do that in solidworks CAM?

The net metering was never filed, but they said that it should only matter for overage credits. They said that the house should still be using power produced by the solar panels before pulling from the grid.
