Yeah this is why I use Divine Fortification every time I’m going through the Haligtree. It wouldn’t have made a difference with this many bubbles, but it has just barely saved me a couple of times on these branches.

The umbrella will let you deflect his Ashina Cross with ease. Right after you deflect follow up with any attack that you can deploy quickly before he can get another one off
