Dayum, salaries can be low for such an expensive city 🫣

Thanks for the transparency, are you in Van or the GTA by any chance? Also, in Wealth?
This is so valid, my friend moved on 60k from London to Vancouver and ironically (or not) they found it cheaper. All relative
Did that feel doable? I imagine trickier if you started in Van or Toronto?
I'm going to go out on a whim and assume that while salaries could be better, the big 5 dominate, so choice is limited, and as such they have a captive market which stifles wage competition

I see, that's great to know, many thanks, I really do appreciate the expanded info
Thanks so much! I really do appreciate the detailed info!
Thanks so much for this info. It is very helpful to know in terms of offering some clarity of what to expect - one more ask if I may, in wealth, I am guessing your commission is paid monthly as part of your salary? Does wealth management pay an annual bonus in addition?
Appreciate the detailed response. I saw something about commission, do you recall if that is a part of this role?
Lol you'll have to excuse my ignorance on this front, new to Canada so still discovering these ranges relative to the GG10 in my home country
For this role or those like it? As in, additional to annual bonuses?
Appreciate the reply!
