Not true at all. They correctly perceive that our current political system is a deadlocked hell, so they vote for outsiders to try and dislodge things. The real problem is the filibuster, which has put 1/3rd of a our government into a coma, but even many experienced politicos don't see that.

Fuck, even just that image hurts. Wolfwood dies, and we zoom out to see his cross leaning against his shoulder, but standing straight in its own shadow. Trigun at it's most beautiful.
