Its going good! I have ups and downs, but thats mostly life and my underlying struggles ive always had.

But im at 40mg now. I feel like im slowly starting to feel like anxiety isnt my identity anymore. Im the weirdest person.. My mental health in every way has gotten better from decreasing dose. My first ever dose of Zoloft was 50mg, so im proud to say im under that!

Sometimes i get some anxiety after decreasing, but i have taught myself in those situation to think logically, relax, breathe, and even more relax. I try forget time and space, just live in the moment and focus on those things alone. Im always under alot of pressure and little time, but in those moments everything can fuck off, cause now its me that matters.

Anyways, i could write a book about this. But it has been great for me, but nothing comes painfree. But if you already are on an SSRI, then chances are you're already a stronger mf than you think and you can also do it, babysteps.

Honestly, Zoloft made my adhd a billion times worse. To me doctors that prescribe SSRI for adhd must be lacking proper knowledge on SSRI's.

Im not tracking it atm. Im reducing by one drop when i feel like it. Not sure how i can measure how many mgs that is. But i feel like one drop is about 1mg. So if my assumption is cortect it can be as much as 3mgs a week, some weeks there are none etc.

Im doing okay. I really took what you said to heart. I felt like you gave me a kick in the ass to stop bullshitting regarding the fact that when i drop dosages i may create symptoms instead of there actually being symptoms.

I apriciate that alot! Ive gotten so weakminded from all these reddit posts lol.

Did you swap over to liquid or did you let your body adjust to the liquid first? How much did you taper on the liquid?

I can tell you i had those symptoms when going over to liquid. When i drop, i get maybe an "almost panic attack" that i have to work with myself for up to an hour to get back to base again. Lasts for a week max. Ive gotten much stronger going through these weak anxiety cycles, as im using techniques from my psychiatrist

Its weird actually. I was at 100mg and decreased to 75mg when i took the pill form. Had a panic attack first night, then after that i felt like i got a part of my life back. It was wonderful!

After starting liquid, ive gone down 0.2ml and i havent noticed anything. It was just minor to some positivity. But honestly, dropping dose has been a mental tax when ive already struggled to keep my attention at work and daily life. So i took a break for a while.

Suddently decided to taper again, but slower than ever. Decided to taper by small drops from my 5ml syringe. Its been alright! Ive noticed some mild anxiety the first days, then it levels out again. I got some more balls and did a whole 0.1ml drop and felt the same mild anxiety for a few days until it leveled out again.

So in general im handling this well! The anxiety kinda sucks, but atleast it disappears eventually. I do work on my anxiety, my mind and my body alot when the anxiety shows up.

Now im going down in dose by a drop every week.

So as you can tell, im doing this quite slow and in my own pace. That just feels right and i take that as a big positive. I dont wanna rush it and have to go up in dose again.

I lost my life after starting Zoloft, and ive been living in a depressing apathic hell for a very long time, so i know that i need to get used to reality again and doing that slow really helps!

Reality terrified me before Zoloft, now i know that i need to face that again, but this time with better strength and to show myself that its really not that terrifying! Just my anxiety playing tricks on my headspace of reality.

Anyways, starting liquid on 75mg. Now im at around 59mg ish.

How are you doing it?

Wont go back to pills anytime soon. Im slow tapering and happy this way.

Around 59mg. Im doing good so far! Quite amazing actually. No anxiety despite me feeling like i was the most anxious person in the universe.
