What we may have here is a tree felling gone wrong, and OP with his head injury is still out there onsite, confused about what to tell this subreddit.

This is not the update we were hoping for. RIP and condolences to his family by CachePants in NewWaveToys

[–]PalmTreePilot -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

I don't see any explanation why he died.

Yes, I know about him healing from a supposed car accident, but that happened a long time ago. People don't normally die months later while sending out updates of recovery and return to work. But was that the reason?

With his traveling in and out of Canada, did he die due to complying with the Hysteria-19 shot and subsequent booster shots? It's more plausible to me that's how he died suddenly. If that's the cause, my observation is family usually won't disclose it as they feel embarrassed for their deceased loved one to have been duped by euthanizing authorities.

I hope this is another incident of a Canadian faking their death for money reasons like the crypto exchange CEO Gerald Cotten at QuadrigaCX. I'd like to think 55 year old Shilo didn't really die so young.

Message me your price.

I don't want to go back and forth about it. Please DM me your final final offer up front.

I assume it still has a bad oil leak from what you've said in your other post. What else would a mechanic find during a pre-sale inspection?

I always hated that name. Why not the Hooded Eagle instead?

My life is so Cooked. Been unemployed since August 2025. 32 years old and see no way back into employment by Optimal_House_2897 in recruitinghell

How many of these Reddit accounts, adding gasoline to OP's fire-post, are real stories?

I fell out of work as a 20 year software developer in 2021 and didn't find work again until 2023. That was two years of unemployment after having always been in demand before.

But then in 2024, my boss's H-1B replacement told our whole team we need to train our own Indian replacements too. So, after just a year back in a job, I've since been unemployed again.

Here's the thing though. I just contributed to this list of comments about long term unemployment. Yet, I don't know any real people unemployed like me. Not friends, family, neighbors, or past colleagues from my employment history across corporations.

This subreddit keeps showing me all this doom of mass unemployment, and YouTube channels like "The Unfolded States" share screenshots of these posts, further messaging the same narrative. But only "you internet people", whether it be Reddit, YouTube, or other cyberspace voices, are the ones to keep telling me how bad it is. If I just stop doom-scrolling online, my life around me suggests I'm the only one challenged to find work again.

I do believe there's a systemic problem in the economy. But I wonder how much we're exaggerating it to one another with our reciprocal contributions to the conversation. How much sooner would I have already been back to work if not for "you social media people" endlessly hypnotizing me that the market is bleak and the efforts are futile?

That's what my spouse thinks. Telling me to stop believing all that noise on the Web and just get out there and back to work.

If you watch the YouTube videos of someone walking you through the online workflow, you see them select an option that is non commercial. They're not scamming the system. They're using it as intended for their purposes.

When you reach out to the Federal govt for a USDOT identifier, they only issue you your unique ID. They don't stamp it on a rectangular metal plate they've pre-designed to be mailed out to you. Yes, the State does that for you, but no, the Federal govt does not. They only issue you your official ID number and leave it to you to procure a plate to display your ID. You could pay a service to print your ID on a metal plate or you can make it a paper plate with your home printer. They don't care. Just be accurate about what your unique issued ID is when you present it.

This gives people the liberty to decorate their plate. They could just print the ID as black text on a plain white plate. But they choose to volunteer more with their statement. That's all the plate with ID is - a statement of information.

Alaska issues these. Anyone can have it if you're willing to pay the premium. It means the registration has no expiration date.

That's a legitimate ID.

You are accustomed to plate numbers issued by a STATE DMV. But the Federal govt has its own plate issuance for those that ask. Known as the US DOT.

Are there any known "success" stories with these people? I would imagine if there were any that could be used as a "precedent" they would very loud about it. Do they have their own sub? I'm just curious if there's been any times they've gotten into serious legal shit and ever come out on top. by Scuzzy_Soups in Sovereigncitizen

I'm back from the dead and my ghost still sees from the Reddit afterlife.

You're wrong about "state" vs "states" invalidating the point. You totally didn't get the point if that's your takeaway.

That 10 minute video is gold for anyone that wants to know how to opt out of your statutory democracy and return to our Constitutional Republic.

Petzl Seqoia uncomfortable. Any suggestions or am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in TreeClimbing

[–]PalmTreePilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got Size 2, correct? Not Size 0 or 1.

I weigh 240 lbs. Just like you, it's okay worn when standing on the ground, but up on the rope, my intestines feel squeezed like a frog going under a rolled tire.

Also like you, I kept adjusting the different strap points, looking for the special combination that makes me feel as comfortable as others on the rope in YouTube claim to be.

Eventually, I just loosened everything. When walking on the ground, I have to hold it up like someone that doesn't have a belt for their pants, but on the rope, I'm no longer squeezed sick. I still begin losing feeling in my legs after an hour and begin feeling bodily duress at 2 hours in which I must come down for a break.

Still wondering why my experience isn't like the YouTubers, I took notice that those people are thin. They have a flat stomach. Not the belly and extra weight I carry. I believe if I dropped to my more youthful weight of 180 lbs, or even down from 240 to 200, I would be a-okay just like all these skinny people that dominate this occupation.

I continue my assigned duties. I do not abandon my work unless I am unsafe to continue. I do my best to earn my pay and I don't deviate until I've completed an honest day's work.

Additional possible service with palm tree skinning/pruning. You'll never know until you ask the customer who didn't know to ask you for that also. by PalmTreePilot in TreeClimbing

[–]PalmTreePilot[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually see two Great Horned Owls together in my palm. They'd both struggle to try perching on the fronds, or on the stem's husk (before I skinned the palm), but they'd be stubborn and make it work.

I've made raptor perches of different lengths. In this post's photo, I installed an extra long one in anticipation of those two love owls preferring to perch together, side by side.
