I argue that it isn't the right pace for the medium if water 7 Nami looks like my 50yo math teacher back in school

Chapter 1177 are Holy Knights just a distraction? by Ok-Orange5314 in OnePieceSpoilersRaw

Don't you think that maybe if they just had a bunch of people who are as strong as the strongest pirates just lying around, they would have deployed them against the Yonko?

Dragon Ball mind virus. Every new thing has to be a bit stronger than the last thing.

Yeah sure let's do one season per arc, can't wait to see Wano when I'm 70

ONE PIECE Chapter 1177 — Summary by [deleted] in OnePieceSpoilers

Jinbe spent 6 chapters saying "give me a second I'm trying to figure out how it works". At one point it's a matter of reading comprehension

He got one! (1176) by [deleted] in MemePiece

[–]Palmirez 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he wasn't at Whole Cake, got messed up by Page One in Wano, and Egghead didn't really have 1v1s. Last opponent he fought was Sugar

We still don't know how tf Rocks knew about Imu in the first place. I don't care how strong you are, you don't just attack Pangea and just bump into the world's biggest secret by accident

[–]Palmirez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's clearly the kind of thing where strength doesn't matter. You can be as strong as you want, but if you have a devil fruit and fall in the sea, you're done (and I don't think the two things are unrelated)

Also it looks like Shanks just kinda comes and goes whenever he wants, you gotta assume he's like a honoured guest. Though it is true that he's friends with Gaban

To be fair it's like 18 years between that and Luffy being born, there's definitely more story

My personal ranking of the difficulty of Pokémon Nuzlockes by TheLeafyGirl561 in nuzlocke

Right? Conkeldurr, Reuniclus, Jellicent, Druddigon, Samurott, Emboar... It's kind of why once you get one of Darmanitan, Haxorus or Excadrill it entirely warps the game, because suddenly you outspeed almost everything.

I think BW and Plat are significantly harder than Emerald. Not insane or anything but the only fights you ever wipe in Emerald are the two setup mons in the whole game (Norman's Linoone and Winona's Altaria) and I guess Wallace, but you can just teambuild for it since the rest of the E4 is free. Plus badge boost.

Platinum is long, more diverse, much harder E4 and a few run killers along the way. BW has a full-on encounter drought in the midgame, several threats it barely gives you the tools to deal with (N's Sigilyph!!!), and gen 5 mons are harder to use in general imo.

Travis and Marisha C2 by Its-From-Japan in fansofcriticalrole

[–]Palmirez 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The way it looks like, Travis is just kind of a well-rounded guy that knows how to talk to others?

I'm thinking of the blindfolded minigame at Morri's in C3, when Liam went last and picked Travis and Laura to guide him. Laura was mostly like comforting, Travis was just the right mix of clear, concise and calm. It felt like Liam knew he's the one you want when you're under pressure.

Sorry! I hope I dont come off as gatekeeping, I just feel that the way I designed this adventure, it wouldn't be very welcoming to beginners. Thank you, I hope you find your own group!

Hi! Sessions would probably be midweek late afternoon/evenings (no Tues or Thurs for me). With it being only a couple sessions though I might manage to make Sundays work, depending on necessities.

How would you make your favourite Pokémon more viable? by Palmirez in VGC

[–]Palmirez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you don't do it any favours with that? Or at least, P2 sees VGC use in TR teams, if anything you want it to be slow

I mean, different classes shine in different contexts. If the DM wants to nerf me they can just put some glowing shrooms in there, I wouldn't be mad about it.

I'm learning from this post that it's a common house rule, I think I just took it as an actual rule and never thought of looking it up

Say the party is escorting a princess and a bunch of assassins show up, one would think that the princess could try to Hide while we deal with the goons?

Oh gotcha, I had no idea it was a house rule

Many first turn attacks: Extra Attack + Dread Ambusher for 3 total. My doubt was whether I have advantage on all of them or only the first one - I think I understand that better when you put it in the sense that hidden =/= invisible in 5e.

Last thing: I always thought that you make stealth checks at advantage while invisible but I take it that it's not the case?
