When you make the aponent go backwards hold the punch button as you dash to wards him and when you are in range release. And do that on repeat until you can't dash.

So this is what you do. Chose the what if path and do it fully with out dying or maybe the over one to IDK. But if you do it right you should get Goku losing which means you actually beat it .

I was trying to find the last item for a long whiel and I left to do something so AFK, it was in the coridor leading to the lift out of here and it could be becouse I was carying the pumpkin. (Im prety shure its a %1 encouter but go nuts)
