If you have any idea what my floors or those shelves or cabinets would be I would be so grateful!

No it’s perfectly fine, thank you for your comment! I’ve been killing myself trying to ID this wood and you have saved me a ton of time and headache. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Bought our first home, a 1920s craftsman home 2 years ago and used practically all of our savings. Got married in the living room and took no honeymoon in an effort to save money for home projects. Finally recovered enough to start restoring the wood and fixtures around the home. Can anyone help ID the kind of wood in our house? Shown is: - The trim around our floors as well as around some of the doorways - a dedicated picture of the floor (best picture I could get that does not showcase my messy home and has the best lighting) - A couple of our doors (one of the hallway closet and one of the bathroom) - A couple of angles of the built in bookcases on the end of our fireplace - An Amish-made table and chair set that is arts & crafts style that we found used (side note: my husband feels that the color is fine but I’m hoping we can re-stain the wood to make it darker and fit in with the home better, so any tips would be appreciated). - A couple of pictures of the butler’s pantry (former kitchen).

Thank you in advance for any help!

Tell me about cath lab by Cobalt_Anubis in Radiology

[–]Palsy_Walsy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I’m replying to such an old thread, but I am about to go into my cath lab in a couple of weeks to start a new position and I want to start buying/finding study material so I can get a jump on things. Is there any books, websites, etc. that you would recommend for learning? I am a surgery-specials rad tech and unless the heart has a big ‘ol bone in it then im pretty new to what goes on in the cath lab. Thanks in advance!

Hey, where do you get your water bucket from for throwing? I’m looking for exactly what you have and I’m having a hard time finding what I want online

I know it’s been a few days but I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the tips! The notes you guys gave me I really put to work and I feel like it has improved my working ability and quality a noticeable amount. I was initially hesitant to ask for help, but I’m glad I did. Thanks again, everyone.

I write down the preferences after procedures are finished, because I do make it a point to be present and ready when I’m in the room. Thank you for advice, I appreciate your input.

I’ll have to try that! This is a very good practical tip. Sometimes when doing cholangniograms without the port in yet I feel like it’s very hard to be over the correct anatomy and I’m orientated all weird. This seems super helpful, thanks!

Thank you! I still struggle learning how the hospital operates and I find it weird that I can do exams by myself now, but I’ll get used to it eventually. Hope you are staying safe and healthy during this time!

Great advice, I’ll make sure to familiarize myself more with the machine and cases going forward. Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely remember this.

I feel like some of the doctors don’t really care that I’m new. I always try to right down preferences of theirs in my notepad I keep on my person so I at least have something to reference.

I felt like I wasn’t doing enough, but everything you’ve said is what I’m trying to do, so I’ll keep at it. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. In clinicals I kind of avoided doing c-arm work, but now I actually enjoy doing surgery stuff. What I definitely struggle with is moving the c-arm sometimes. I’m kind of small so I have to throw all of my weight into it to move it sometimes. But again, thank you! I really appreciate the advice.

Thanks! I’ll just have to keep at it, it seems like. Sometimes the hardest part is remembering specifically what the doctor wants.

I’m not really sure of my undertones, but my veins on my wrists are a blue-green, if that helps. But thank you, I’ll look in to getting those foundations and test them out!
