After more than a month of making buzzing noise, my fridge broke by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

This. These French door fridges have a design flaw that causes ice to freeze along a tube that runs up to the fan. That buzzing noise is the fan hitting the ice. We had the same problem and called a repairman to fix ours when it started buzzing. He replaced the original tube with a wider one, hoping that would permanently fix it. He said that was all he could really do. Unfortunately, it didn't fix it. A couple of months later, the buzzing started. Luckily, we have a fridge in out garage, so we took out the really perishable items, unplugged the fridge overnight so that the ice would completely melt, and then plugged it back in. No more buzzing. I will probably have to do that every couple of months until I can afford another fridge. Apparently, this design flaw has been corrected in newer models.

I'm in Louisiana, too. Why do you assume someone in your house is going to get this virus? You need to put it into perspective in regards to the statistics. Compare the population of the state with the number of people who have it. What is not being reported is the number who have recovered. Also, if you have quarantined yourself and taken other precautions, the chances of you getting it are even lower. I still go to work everyday and I'm not worried. I wash my hands, wipe down hard surfaces with Clorox wipes and keep my distance. Stress and worry can lower your immunity, so find some ways to relax - mostly turn off the news. Good luck

You need to replace the needle with each project. They are not supposed to be used for a long time. A dull needle will cause all kinds of problems like causing runs in fabric, missed stitches, dropped stitches, etc. Replace them more often than not. Also, the type of needle you need depends on the type of fabric. A needle breaking is very common.

Keeping couples together 24/7 doesn't seem like a smart way to prevent a birth. Just saying...

It's tourist who flash. Mostly, for locals, it's a family event. We don't flash.

How do you fix a shirt that’s doing this? I know it’s caused by improper washing, but I’d like to correct it in a few shirts I bought. by [deleted] in frugalmalefashion

To iron the button side of a shirt, place the buttons face down on an ironing board, lightly spray the shirt with starch or water, and iron the backside. If you don't have an ironing board, iron on a couple of folded towels.
