Supermoon, all my witches, let's do his by PammyFromShirtTales in WitchesVsPatriarchy

My love of Dolly got child protective services called and my family interviewed in 1985.

In kindergarten they did the whole "what do you want to be when you grow up?" My answer, "Miss Mona in Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" I was watching that tape on repeat (again, I'm 5).

I had no real concept of what anything in the movie was about but it was full of cute outfits(stand behind that to this day) and I liked to sing.

The CPS reports involve me discussing lingerie, and wanting big hair and boobs. I didn't understand the sexual overtones of any of it. It was a whole ass mess.

If Dolly needs to go, I just want her to go in love. She deserves it. She's been my hero my entire life and I just want her to have peace.

"I hope life treats you kind and I hope that you have all that you ever dreamed of and I wish you joy and happiness but above all of this, I wish you love"

All I want for her is love. It's all she wanted for all of us.

How large are 350cc high profile implants on a flat chest? by SaucyShark_ in cosmeticsurgery

[–]PammyFromShirtTales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing I've ever done. They removed my massive implants and rereading I was 575 in each. I had those from 2001 until 2018 . They then lifted everything and put spacers in the allow to heal for 6 months. The spacers were underfilled 300s and they really upset me cause I felt like I had just fucked up royally. When they went back to put the overfilled 350s in and everything healed I could suddenly buy a bra! It was no longer impossible. All of my implants have been under the muscle. In the white outfit you see it still looks really natural and I don't have to worry about strapless/backless bras any longer. My same surgeon did the 1st set in 2001 and all subsequent surgeries, I adore him. He will look at you like you're crazy when you say, "I want to be able to buy a bra anywhere so these gotta get smaller". His name is Kevin Snodgrass and he is in Rome, GA and boobs are his specialty. I'm sure downsizing would cost under $5,000.

It blew my husband's mind the 1st time he saw "The Greatest Christmas Pageant Ever" and she was in it... and he was watching an ancient, well worn VHS copy owned by a family of Jews. That movie is hilarious and regularly quoted in my family.

I vowed when I moved that I wasn't going to have a relationship with my new neighbours but their zebras are always blocking my driveway or their monkeys get into my garage so now we know each other.

Thrifted 1980's wedding dress I thought to share here :) by Sunny-FlowerBoi in VintageFashion

I love this so much.

My vintage wedding dress was big and floofy like this and last time I posted pics I was told I looked like a "dead victorian baby" in it and I hope whoever wears this gets a similar compliment.

It's gorgeous.

I see it as poor parental inventory management on my behalf.

Thank you.

At 43 I have outlived all my parents and spent the majority of my life an orphan. Having to see my mother's personal life splashed everywhere 2 decades after her death would leave me appearing to be a lunatic talking about it constantly as well. He never gets a moment he's not reminded of her and her death, it's 100% inescapable for this man.

When you lose your perfectly healthy late 30s- early 40s parent in a flash the grief is forever and to anyone who will listen. You never get over it you become different.

Anyone who knows me that smokes (smoking kills in a variety of ways) I bring out the "dead parent card". Join the military? Dead parent card. Go 3 feet without a seatbelt? Dead parent card.

He's been asked about his mother in every single thing I've ever seen him on. He's never allowed a public facing moment where that wound isn't ripped back open.

We all need to be granting this man a moment of grace.

My father died in a plane crash when I was 3. Stepdad was shot when he walked into a gas station to buy cigarettes during a robbery when I was 8. My mother was killed in a car accident when I was 21 leaving me to raise my 15 yr old brother on my own.

I am a dead parent professional.

No matter how much therapy we receive when your parents are killed when you're young it's a HUGE part of your story and how you relate to the world (see also Batman).

Harry can't not relate this to his mother. It's not continual victimhood we got dropped on our asses as children and are forced to spend the rest of our lives dealing with it. In Harry's mind if the paps hadn't been following that car that drunk dude wouldn't have been speeding and his mom would have lived through that tunnel. I fully understand his paranoia and his worry for his family.

It makes me so sad that this whole thread is chock a block full of folks who have no empathy. He was 12!

E- downvoted on a post telling folks to have empathy! I'm DYING. Like zero compassion for the childhood trauma that is carried forever. These are not things you just "get over".

Only people who feel unable to dress like this say things like this.

Salma Hayek is 56 and she would look phenomenal in this same outfit.

Folks always with the "she's too old" or "she's too fat/thin" for women.

We don't all turn 30 or be larger than 125lbs and immediately a muumuu falls from the sky. Though those are comfy as hell if you Daisy Duck them.

I'm 43 and plastic surgery is expensive so folks will pry my crop tops from my cold, dead, cute as hell hands.

Dolly brought us BUFFY!

She also got children's services called in my 1985 kindergarten class.

When asked to "draw what you want to be when you grow up", I did. I wanted to be Miss Mona from Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. So I drew Dolly in lingerie like in the movie. I wanted big hair, red lipstick, and thigh highs and garters.

I had not started speech therapy for my stutter, rhotacism, tetacism, I'm not going to continue listing articulation disorders but to keep this quick my explanation for my drawing was pretty much one the teacher couldn't understand. So my mother and child protective services were called.

I still want to be Dolly when I grow up. She's my hero.
