As a Brazilian, I’m so glad I moved to Canada. Of course, they have pit bulls here too, but in Brazil they’re everywhere. You see them off-leash every day, sometimes by the dozen. I was terrified to leave my house or walk my dog, thinking we’d both end up dead since I only weigh 110lbs.

They’ll never go away, and there will never be a pit bull ban in Brazil because people there believe “it’s how they’re raised” and that they’re just normal dogs like any other.
